Receptive and productive skills will be developed within a range of contexts in the target language by the use of semi-authentic materials, text and practice books, etc. Structured language will be taught in the context of situations and personalised topics and you will begin to cope with a variety of less predictable real life situations.Students will practise spoken Japanese, and receive formative feedback, as they build up to the oral exam at the end of the year (formally assessed as part of Intermediate II).
Students will learn further 200 Kanji throughout the course.
Students will be given the opportunity to work in a group as well as individually.
The course will also aim to equip students with the ability to access the language autonomously.
