Exclusions
Description	This module presents a fusion of linguistic and analytical competencies to allow students to build on the subject expertise acquired in previous core modules and explain the significance and relevance of that knowledge. Through the interrelation of comprehension, speaking, and writing, students on the module will develop their understanding and expertise in the French language, with specific reference to key debates in the French-speaking world. The module will build on knowledge acquired in previous modules to prepare students for expressing ideas in sophisticated written and spoken French.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of the module students should be able to: be working towards C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). analyse topical issues relating to the French-speaking world in persuasive, idiomatic and accurate written and spoken French; recognise, comprehend and manipulate a variety of registers.
