This module develops the creative skills which translators need in order to thrive in the twenty-first-century language industry. It examines creative translations by professional translators, considering issues such as translator agency and multimodality. It focuses on the analysis of translations of creative texts (including literary and audio-visual texts), enabling students to develop a sophisticated understanding of human creativity in translation.

Apply a variety of up-to-date approaches from the multidisciplinary field of Translation Studies to the analysis of existing creative translation
