Exploring the fundamentals of storytelling in arts, culture and digital media for diverse audiences, you will be engaged in creating your own original work for this module through creative and practical classes. You will explore areas such as narrative structure, character development, composition, and form through collaborative and interactive workshops where you can test your ideas in practice. Drawing on any previous skills whilst learning new techniques for devising and developing creative ideas, you will also reflect on your own creative approaches and learning. Workshops on the module might include engagement with digital resources and media, such as film, photography, podcasting and immersive practices.
