B.Sc. Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics Full-time
Year: 3
2025/26 Session
It is a mandatory requirement to pass the following module(s in order to achieve an accredited degree: Either:
LH Research Skills in Mathematics (23753),
Or LH Current Topics in Theoretical Physics (07813) and LH Scientific Computing Laboratory 2,
Or LH Group Studies (01109).
If students do not pass the required module(s), but have achieved enough credits to graduate, they will receive the unaccredited version of the degree.
Students must take either 03 07813 Current Topics in Theoretical Physics and 03 30966 LH Scientific Computing Laboratory 2, or 06 23753 Research Skills in Mathematics.
If you chose [06 27714] Methods in Partial Differential Equations, then choose 50 credits from the following (10 credits in semester 1 and 40 credits in semester 2).
If you chose [06 28367] Partial Differential Equations, then choose 60 credits from the following (10 credits in semester 1 and 50 credits in semester 2).
Overall you must choose a minimum of 20 credits of Physics optional modules and a minimum of 20 credits of Mathematics optional modules.
